Air Monitor Community Grant Program

The Town of Braintree recently launched a Community Air Sensor Grant Program to help residents monitor air quality in the Fore River Basin. If you are a Braintree resident, you can apply here for a free PurpleAir monitor. Monitors will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis based on eligibility.

FRRACS has set up a network of PurpleAir monitors around the Basin. You can view a map of real-time data here. This initiative will help us complete the loop around the Fore River Basin. If you live in Braintree and you’re interested in obtaining a monitor, apply here. If you’re not in Braintree but are interested, let us know because there could be more monitors available later on.

Many thanks to Town Councilor Elizabeth Maglio and the Town of Braintree for securing funding for this important initiative!
