Supreme Judicial Court Hearing on the Pipeline Tax

Gov. Baker wants to allow electric utilities to charge ratepayers the cost of constructing natural gas pipelines across the state - charging us nearly $8 billion! Not only do we not need these pipelines and the dirty energy that they transport; the gas is going straight up to Canada for export - it won't be used locally.

For months, people across the state have been organizing against Governor Baker's DPU pipeline tax proposal.

There will be an important Supreme Judicial Court hearing on this matter on May 5.
