Screening of "South Shore People Power"

There will be a live screening of South Shore People Power on Thursday, April 27 at 7pm at the United First Parish Church in Quincy (1306 Hancock Street). The screening will be followed by a Q&A discussion. This film was directed by Robert Flame Lamothe of Film Our Way Films.

“South Shore People Power is a documentary film about the fight to stop corporate giant Enbridge from building and operating a dangerous and destructive 7,700 horsepower fracked gas compressor station in a highly populated area of Weymouth and Quincy. 

It was awarded Best Documentary/News Story, Best Educational Film, and Best Educational Subject at the Newsfest International Film Festival, a Silver Award at the International Independent Film Awards, Exceptional Merit at the Docs Without Borders Film Festival, and other awards.”
