Sunset Walk & Tour of the West Waterfront Trail
Join FRRACS & The Fore River Watershed Association for a Tour of the West Waterfront Trail.
Sunday, May 31st at 7:30 PM, we will walk the current part of the trail that is open and help advocate for the trail to be fully connected to King’s Cove Park.
This trail was promised as public access for the Sithe, now Calpine Power Plant, and part of Enbridge’s host agreement with the Town. Show up to tell the Town that we won’t stop until the trail is complete.
Call on Mayor Molisse to resume permitting for the trail with an MWRA 8M trail access permit, the Quincy Conservation Commission, and finalize a formal easement from Enbridge for the current trail area.
The West Waterfront Trail was promised to our community as part of the Sithe/Enbridge agreement. It’s time to ensure it is fully connected to King’s Cove Park.
