Action Item: Comments Needed for Air Quality Permit

The MassDEP has reviewed Spectra's Air Application Plan and is issuing a proposed Air Plan Application. They are now accepting comments from the public on it.

You can submit comments past the May 1 deadline. So keep the comments coming!

While review of this permit (a “non-Major Comprehensive Plan Application” pursuant “310 CMR 7.02 Plan Approval and Emission Limitations”) does not require public comment or hearing, in response to a public petition and the interest in this project, the Proposed Plan Approval has been made subject to a 30-day public comment period.

HOW TO SUBMIT COMMENTS:

This 30-day comment period begins today, Thursday, March 30, 2017 and extends through 5:00 pm on Monday, May 1, 2017. (though you can submit past May 1)

All comments received will be considered and addressed, as appropriate, before taking a final action on the Plan Application.
