It’s getting hard to keep track of the news reports about natural gas pipeline explosions and accidents. We simply cannot afford to keep building dangerous fossil fuel infrastructure. We know that these facilities leak, explode, and cause harm. It’s not a question of '“if”, it’s a question of “when”.
This explosion was at an oil and gas site in Louisiana. The report states that there weren’t any homes nearby and that no injuries were reported. We are grateful for that.
Gov. Baker, are you listening?
