Pipelines Agency To Hold Listening Session For Proposed Weymouth Compressor Station

In response to concerns raised by Congressman Stephen F. Lynch, Mayor Bob Hedlund, Senator Pat O’Connor, Representative Jamie Murphy and the Fore River Residents Against the Compressor Station (FRRACS), the Federal Pipelines and Hazardous Materials Agency (PHMSA) has scheduled a public listening session to examine the serious public safety issues relating to the construction and operation of the proposed Weymouth Compressor Station. PHMSA has arranged for regional staff members who are fully qualified and familiar with the area to attend and answer any questions the public may have about the proposed Compressor Station. This will be an opportunity to raise the significant and documented concerns of health experts, citizens groups and residents of the surrounding residential neighborhoods. The details of the listening session are below:
