In an interesting turn of events, the Canadian company, Enbridge, has announced that they will be purchasing Spectra Energy for a whopping $37 Billion. Enbridge is also involved in the Dakota Access Pipeline and the Sandpiper Pipeline.

This large transmission pipeline would cross the Missouri river, just feet from the Standing Rock Sioux community's water intake in its run from North Dakota to Illinois. There will be a solidarity vigil on Sunday in Plainfield, that you are welcome to attend. If you cannot go in person, we encourage you to join our "virtual vigil." Click for details.
